Accommodations:

There are different hotels based on your preferences, ie., 3 star, 4 star, etc., but I suggest checking reviews and pictures to get a better idea.  Here are some that our students have used;

Best Western Gregory Bay Ridge - Closest to me; can walk to my location.

Avid Hotel 86th Street - 2nd closest to me.  It’s an 8 minute walk to the subway on 86th St and 4th Ave (go 2 stops to Bay Ridge Av, my stop), or take an Uber.

Marriott Brooklyn Bridge - beautiful hotel but it requires an Uber ride which can take a long time due to NYC traffic conditions (always bad).

Wyndham Garden Sunset Park - very close to the subway (36th St Stop, also Historic Greenwood Cemetery which is interesting to visit; plus easy access to Manhattan if you’d like to sightsee) which is a quick ride to my stop (Bay Ridge Ave, see directions below). 

Insignia Hotel - In the heart of Brooklyn Chinatown (great food), not far from me, but need to Uber to me.

Airports:

JFK and LGA are the closest airports - either one is fine, they are about the same distance.
